BAYEGAN Pendik Chess Sports Club has once again claimed the championship title in the Super League this year. Competing against 16 ambitious teams across 15 rounds, BAYEGAN Pendik Chess Sports Club was represented by a powerful lineup, including Grandmasters Mustafa Yılmaz, Işık Can, Ediz Gürel, Emre Can, and Shakriyar Mamedyarov. At the award ceremony held on Saturday, August 16, the championship trophy was presented to BAYEGAN Foundation Vice Chairman of the Board, Erhan Arslanalp, on behalf of BAYEGAN.
Widely regarded as one of the world’s premier chess leagues, the Türkiye İş Bankası Chess Super League took place in Ankara between August 3–16. The league brought together elite players from around the globe and Türkiye, with 204 competitors in total—including 44 Grandmasters (GM) and 39 International Masters (IM). BAYEGAN Pendik Chess Sports Club demonstrated its strength with a team of 11 players.
