BAYEGAN CEO Burcu Olcay Üstüner was honored with an award at the “Top 50 Powerful Women CEO +1 Girl for the Future” ceremony, organized in collaboration with Ekonomist and Capital magazines, and supported by Allianz Türkiye and the Koruncuk Foundation. Üstüner entered the list for the first time, ranking 9th. The award was presented by Ekonomist Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Talip Yılmaz.
The event aimed to highlight women's leadership in the business world, emphasizing not only current achievements but also the goal of creating social impact. The "One Girl for the Future" project, jointly carried out by Allianz Türkiye and the Koruncuk Foundation, was introduced under the moderation of journalist Ayşe Arman. The initiative seeks to provide long-term opportunities for disadvantaged young girls who are unable to continue their education and are in need of support.
Throughout the event, stories and dreams of young girls supported by the Koruncuk Foundation were shared with attendees. These inspiring narratives once again highlighted that women's leadership is tied not only to corporate success but also to societal transformation.
As part of the ceremony, the “Leaders’ Agenda” panel, moderated by Ekonomist Magazine Editor Özlem Bay Yılmaz, addressed topics such as leadership, transformation, and sustainability in the business world. Senior women executives on the panel shared their leadership approaches and insights into the future.
BAYEGAN continues to stand out in the petrochemical industry with its focus on diversity and inclusion. The company remains committed to expanding its corporate responsibility projects and leadership perspective, aiming to nurture not only today’s but also tomorrow’s leaders.
